I'd just finished a book i've bought recently entitled
'The Happy Home for Broken Hearts' written by Rowan Coleman. It's a book that i pick randomly and was attracted by not merely by it's title but i would say the synopsis. This book caught me in surprise which i really didn't expect the fun part. I pick it simply because my instincts tells me that this is a novel that tells only about a woman named Emily at her middle age lost her husband and was left with a child that is twelve years old. Feeling the grief, she has to cope with the new responsibility such as financial issue as previously it was all managed by her loving husband. Luckily there is her sister, Hannah offering Emily a help. Then, her sister eventually have this idea on Emily take in lodgers to solve the financial problem. As her house is big and there are plenty of rooms, She can rent her room out while receiving monthly pay by her lodgers. So there's where the story begins. Put it in simple words, the whole story is about how Emily cope with all the problems she has after the loss of her husband, how she learn the way to be independent taking care on every aspect of the household and her family, make new friends and through their support, she finally discover new hope and the ability to love again.

Based on what i'd read, overall this book is entertaining and heartbreaking. You will be surprised on how great this book is. Each character in this book (the lodgers) with different background and problems has a great story. The weird part is, i realize this book is only suitable for adults. LOL. So, The plots are well written and i fall in love with the writer's language. I can simply use this book as a tool to improve my grammer and would read it again if i have time. ^_^
