Steamboat @ Shabu- Shabu Train

This is a Japanese fusion steamboat based restaurant. The environment here is quite good. I can say that it's quite clean compare to other steamboat restaurant. The service here is good either as the staff here is very polite. The only problem is u have to really depend on the picture in the menu most of the time to show what you want. Here, they speak simple English as well.
Due to the ongoing promotion, my friends and i choose to walk in as I'm a steamboat lover. There are 3 sets for you to choose from (chicken set / seafood set / Chicken+ Seafood Set). The set comes with a free Marigold's one scoop ice cream which you have to remind them after you'd finish your meal.

Likewise there were variety choices of sauces you might want to try which is placed in a small corner.

Promotion Set A (Chicken Meat) Rm 9.90

I choose Set A which is among the cheapest one of the three sets. The set comes with an an egg, slices of chicken meat, vegetables, enorki mushrooms, sausages, smiley face fish paste, ' crispy Fu Jok' and meehoon noodle.

Tom Yam Soup

The soup~ U can choose either miso soup / chicken soup or Tom Yam. For me, it's definitely Tom Yam soup as it has more flavour in it and it's not so spicy so one might not have to worry but still i have to always make sure i ordered a cold drink to neutralized the hot pain that lingers in my mouth. LOL =p

The tools u need for steamboat

Let's put in everything inside the soup

Steps~ Step 1- Put in the ingredients you want inside the soup.
Step 2 -Boil the soup in high fire which may take 3 minutes.
Step 3- When it is almost boiled, turn the fire in to lower heat in order for it to boiled slowly
Step 4- It's ready, grab your tools and start eating while it's still boiling.
Step 5- You may add in other stuff you like.

Followed by noodles...  when it's ready the texture will become soft.

Additional purple plate~ we called it Tau-foo-pok

Additional green plate

There were variety of choices where you might want to choose and pick yourself from the artificial train. You can actually pay RM 2-RM3 for the soup and pick whatever you want in the fresh container which were placed at the corner of the restaurant. Each plates are packed individually in different colours which indicates different prices. You can study the price first before you take any of them. (Prices ranges from RM 1-RM 6)

Boil it using high fire, then quickly turn to it to low when it's almost boiled.

High fire...can u see the boiling effect? Haha...

Honeydew Milkshake (Nice) RM 6.90

Dinner@ Madam Kwan

Had my dinner at Madam Kwan. Located at Level 1 Pavillion KL, the restaurant is so famous that we have to queue for some time in order to get our place. The restaurant has a beautiful design that is simple, clean yet contemporary which gives the whole environment a classy feel and look. Besides, each table is decorated with a nice red/pink rose.

Chicken Satay *Rm 13.50

I love the Satay but i realized that there are different prices depending on what meat you choose (Chicken/ Beef /Lamb). Although the cheapest is chicken meat yet it tasted delicious. It's quite expensive to pay the amount of price stated above for only 6 satay sticks. However, you can give it a try as it will not disappoint you. Afterall, it's worth it for satay's lover. The satay comes with ketupat rice, onions, slice cucumber, sliced pineapple and a little spicy satay sauce.

Fried John Snapper Fish Fillet Milky Soup Noodle

I ordered this and can only comment that it is just ok to me as i don't really fancy milky stuff so it really depends on your taste. The soup is very milky and you have to be careful with the fish bones. Although it may seemed crispy but once everything is soaked inside the soup, you just have to bear with the soft texture.....

Prawn Wanton Noodle Soup

Perfect meal for people who love something simple and nice. My favourite. The soup is clear and it tasted as good as ikan bilis soup. Love the wanton as well. Ichiban! Those who don't fancy noodles, you can try Prawn Wanton Soup. (*without noodle)

Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken

One of Madam Kwan's signature meal, Nasi Lemak. Have to say that the nasi lemak is good but it's quite spicy for me.
